Am really grateful for this book as my first ever full novel. Lost count of the number of short scenes and previous attempts to create one. Just seemed to be forever an upward struggle - including how to write an actual proper story. Then one night, alone in my digs in Mainz near Frankfurt, an undergraduate at IBM, I sat with a bottle of Southern Comfort and some tonic mixer and just wrote. No memory of how long it took, just remember the elation when got to the end of the completed book outline, four magical to me pages of hand-written A4. Like a stranger at a party, that broke the writing ice and have never looked back. Just a short segment from the book below:as
'Behold the dreamer for there is truth in dreams and there lies reality until dawn breaks when only cold, fading echoes remain.
Hold on to your dreams and you believe in yourself.
Loose them and you bury your hopes for ever.'
